Rain Dance is the first interlude from the children’s orchestral show, “A Day in the Forest”.  This work recreates the experience of a torrential rain storm in the woods complete with blowing wind, claps of thunder, and the drip, drop of the rain dancing on the leaves of the trees.

Buzz Off! is an animated orchestral work that depicts zillions of mosquitoes and blackflies that are ready to attack an unprotected traveller in the woods.  Will the listener be able to guess that the music depicts these annoying, pesky insects?  Absolutely!
